Two different groups of people

This policy covers both our publishers, who have accounts with us, and visitors to the websites our advertising appears on.

If you are a publisher

When you apply or hold an account we process your name, email address, company details, website details, payment details and tax status, along with records of your earnings and our correspondence.

We use this to assess your application, operate your account, pay you, meet our tax and accounting obligations, and prevent fraud. Our lawful bases are performance of a contract, compliance with a legal obligation, and our legitimate interest in preventing fraud.

If you visited a website carrying our ads

When an AdNativo ad unit loads, we process:

• your IP address, which we convert to an approximate country and network operator and then store only as an irreversible hash
• your browser and device type, and your operating system
• the page the ad appeared on and the site that referred you
• whether the ad was displayed, became visible, and whether it was clicked
• signals used to tell automated traffic from real people, such as whether the connection comes from a data centre or anonymising service

We use this to display advertising, to measure it, to pay publishers correctly, and to detect invalid and fraudulent traffic. Our lawful bases are consent, where consent is required in your jurisdiction and collected by the website you visited, and our legitimate interest in preventing advertising fraud.

We do not try to identify you, we do not build advertising profiles about you, and we do not sell personal data.

Our advertising partners

The advertisements themselves are delivered by third-party native advertising networks. Their own code runs on the publisher's page and they process data under their own privacy policies, which we do not control. Where required, the website you visited should ask for your consent before that code runs.

How long we keep it

• Individual ad-serving records: 30 days, after which only aggregated totals remain
• Aggregated statistics, which do not identify anyone: retained for business and audit purposes
• Publisher account and payment records: for as long as the account is open, and afterwards for as long as tax and accounting law requires

Where data is processed

Our systems are hosted in the United Kingdom. Where data is transferred outside the UK or EEA, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access the personal data we hold about you, to have it corrected or erased, to restrict or object to how we use it, and to receive it in a portable form. To exercise any of these, email hello@adnativo.com.

If you are in the UK you may also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office. If you are in the EEA you may complain to your local supervisory authority.

Changes

If we change this policy we will update the date above, and tell publishers directly where the change is significant.
